I found Bullying: A Culture of Silence very informative for the public and extremely educational for children/families. It addresses issues related to violence, intimidation, harassment and loneliness. The case studies in this documentary were so emotional to see and hear stories of victim being attacked individuals or groups. The studies demonstrated how victims of bullying suffered from fear, anxiety, low-self-esteem and even death.
The message in this documentary will help victims of bullying to know they are not alone, it’s not their fault, there are resources they could reach out to get help. The message promotes a positive approach to safety. Parents today hope their children are safe at home, at school and at the playground. Sharing the documentary in the school system may help prevent the problem of bullying.
