When I heard that Sunnie McFadden-Curtis was creating a documentary on bullying I was very curious to watch it, as I know it has become a huge issue in the school system and affects us in the work place.
I am a university educated person and consider myself to be a socially aware individual, however, until I watched Sunnie's documentary I never realized how bullying can affect us in the home, in our relationships with our families, friends, spouses and how it can shape and change who we are at the core.
Bullying is an epidemic and it is everywhere and can affect all of us at any age.
For me personally, I was bullied and then bullied others in high school and it definitely left its mark, in many ways, which I never realized until I watched her documentary.
I now understand why I bullied, why I behave the way I do sometimes and am working on it so that I can lead a more balanced, harmonized life.
Thank you Sunnie for making a difference in my life and for your strength to stand up to such a complex issue that can truly make a difference in so many lives.
Sincerely,
Jennyfer
