I must confess, I was not too sure of what to expect when Sunnie McFadden-Curtis contacted me as the ex-President of an organization dedicated to the care of children and youths with special needs, and as a father of three children, to view and provide feedback on the documentary: “Bullying: A Culture of Silence”.
Viewing this documentary was an eye-opener for me.
The documentary gives some very useful pointers on how to identify if a child is being bullied, if a child is a bully, and some corrective actions for parents, educators, and care-givers to take to address bullying.
Without a doubt, for me personally, this documentary confirms that the silence attached to bullying has to be broken, for bullying affects not only the ones being bullied but their families, and the community at large.
Sincerely,
Bodun M.
