Ms. Sunnie McFadden-Curtis

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to you for all your efforts in making Langstaff Secondary Public School a safer place for my son from bullying. He was getting low grades from poor self esteem and fear resulting from constant bullying by a group of students.

Your presence, and coaching of the school's senior staff, and their eagerness to be pro-active and work with you made a huge difference in Ryan's character and his academic performance. One of the bullies even approached him to apologize for bullying him. Ryan is no longer being harassed and enjoying many friendships at school without looking over his shoulder in fear.

Thank you so much and keep up your positive influence on our youth who are being physically and emotionally hurt by bullying.

Gerry

Dear Ms. McFadden-Curtis,

It was a pleasure to have Ms. Sunnie McFadden-Curtis visit Langstaff. Secondary School. She met with students from our bullying prevention group and learned about what they do in the school. She asked some thought-provoking questions and engaged them in a good discussion. We cannot afford to be passive bystanders and we need to break the 'culture of silence'.

I would like to thank Ms. McFadden-Curtis for her commitment to empowering parents and the school community with 'concrete solutions' to tackle bullying.

Rashmi Swarup
Principal
Langstaff Secondary School
